Organisation - View Audit History

Purpose

This article explains how to use the Audit feature in Magnifi. The audit shows activity per user within an organisation, helping you review changes and maintain transparency.


When to Use

Use the Audit feature when:

  • You want to review activity by user (e.g., changes made to accounts, projections, or settings).

  • You need an audit trail for compliance or internal review purposes.

  • You are troubleshooting changes to an organisation file.


How To

Access the Audit Feature

  1. After login, locate your organisation name on the Home page.

  2. Click the edit icon (next to the organisation name).

  3. In the organisation settings window, click Audit.

  4. The audit log will display activity by user, including details of the changes made.

Access Restrictions

  • If you do not see the option to edit the organisation, you may only have access to a specific file rather than the full organisation (which we refer to as a brand).

  • Contact us if you require organisation-level access.


Tips / FAQs

  • Can I export the audit log?
    Currently, the audit is view-only inside Magnifi. Contact support if you need a formal record.

  • Who can see the audit?
    Only users with organisation-level access (not just file access) can view the Audit button.

  • Does the audit show all changes?
    The audit tracks key user activity such as edits, imports, and structural changes.
