This article explains how to manage passwords in Magnifi. You can reset or re-invite users, change your own login password, and set a password for an organisation.
Use these steps when:
You need to re-invite an existing user to regain access.
A user has forgotten their password or cannot log in.
You want to change your own password.
You want to set or update a password for an organisation.
Open the Users menu and select the user.
Select Reset Password.
The user will receive an email with login details.
They can log in with either the login code provided or their email address.
Open the Users menu.
Select the user.
Click Reset Password.
This sends an email with a new login code.
Go to Users > My Password.
Enter your new password.
Confirm your new password.
Click Save.
From the Home Page, locate the organisation you want to update.
Click the Edit icon (next to the organisation name).
If you don’t see the Edit option, it may mean you only have access to the individual file rather than the full organisation (what we call the brand). Please contact us if you need organisation-level access.
Select the Password tab.
Enter the organisation password and click Save.
⚠️ If you forget the organisation password, please contact us and we will reset it for you.
If users don’t receive their reset email, ask them to check junk/spam folders.
The System Administrator can manage users across all organisations.
